The Beauty is Ryan Murphy’s new high concept body horror show, but what songs are included on the soundtracK? Find out below.
Murphy, the creator of American Horror Story, Monster and The Watcher, has worked alongside Matthew Hodgson on the new series, and the first three episodes premiered on FX and Hulu in the US on Wednesday (January 21), and on Disney+ a day later in the UK.
Remaining episodes will arrive on a weekly basis until the season finale of episode 11 on March 4. Check out the trailer below.
The show revolves around the rapid spread of a sexually transmitted treatment known as ‘the beauty’, which grants users physical attractiveness through aesthetic makeup, but conceals lethal side effects. Deaths and public panic escalate and the FBI investigates the forces behind the drug and its ensuing epidemic.
Murphy regular Evan Peters (Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story) takes the lead role of Cooper Madsen, the FBI agent leading the investigation, while Anthony Ramos (Twisters, A Star Is Born) plays a rapidly aging assassin who has been taking the drug for some time.
The cast also features Rebecca Hall as Madsen’s FBI partner, Ashton Kutcher as the tech billionaire tied to the drug in question who is obsessed with finding ways to avoid aging, and Isabella Rossellini as his estranged wife.
The show currently sits on a 73 per cent critics rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

The show features an original score from the prolific composer Mac Quayle, an Emmy winner who is known for his work on titles such as Mr. Robot, Leave The World Behind and His & Hers, as well as several of Murphy’s previous projects.
As well as that, there are several needle drops throughout the show, including tunes from The Prodigy, Modjo and Phil Collins.
