Watch ZAYN debut powerful new single ‘Die For Me’ as he kicks off Las Vegas residency

ZAYN debuted a new song called ‘Die For Me’ as he kicked off his Las Vegas residency earlier this week. Check out the video below.

The soloist and former One Direction member began a seven-night stint at Sin City’s Dolby Live at Park MGM on Tuesday (January 20).

He treated the audience to tracks from all four of his studio albums throughout the set, including the first outing of his forthcoming single ‘Die For Me’.

Good times and bad times, I gave you my everything/ I tried and I tried to love you through everything/ Swore to each other we’d never be enemies/ Why the fuck would you say that to me?” ZAYN sings on the brooding and atmospheric cut.

If you have a heart, rip it up, let it bleed/ ‘Cause you said you would die for me,” he adds, delivering the second line in falsetto, ahead of a powerful chorus. He pleads: “Don’t leave me now when I need you the most.”

ZAYN debuted four other unheard songs in the form of ‘Nusrat’, ‘Used To The Blues’, ‘Fatal’ and ‘Take Turns’.

Throughout the residency, fans can take part in a ‘Z5’ listening booth experience where they can hear snippets of ZAYN’s new material. Further details about his next album are not yet known.

The unreleased music sees ZAYN “make a long-awaited return to his pop R&B roots and was met with an exuberant reaction from the crowd”, per a press release.

‘Nusrat’ (unreleased)
‘She’
‘Birds On A Cloud’

ZAYN’s Las Vegas residency will resume this Saturday (January 24), ahead of another concert on Sunday (25). The remaining dates are scheduled for next Wednesday (28), Friday (30) and Saturday (31).

He released his fourth solo album, ‘Room Under The Stairs’, in 2024. Upon announcing his run of Vegas shows, a press release promised a “massive year” ahead for the singer.

ZAYN’s preview of new music comes on the heels of his former 1D bandmate Harry Styles announcing his fourth solo record, ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally’. The project is due for release on March 6. The lead single from the record, ‘Aperture’, is out tomorrow (Friday January 23).

Styles’ comeback track will arrive on the same day as Louis Tomlinson‘s third LP, ‘How Did I Get Here?’.

Last autumn, it was reported that ZAYN and Tomlinson were set to reunite for a new Netflix documentary series.
