All of 2023 has been a ride of emotion for Scrybe Streaming artists and fans. The app that has proven to be more cost effective for fans and have higher payouts for artists, has been teasing its version 2 release date for more than 2 months. In November, CEO Christian Phyfier released the test leak to anyone within the Scrybe Discord Server or anyone who requested it via Scrybe Streaming’s Instagram. Raving reviews in regard to design, functionality and quality came from hundreds of artists and many fans.
Since the test release there have been several updates for testers to continue to play with, making minimal improvements and design corrections, but most are looking at the functionality of the App as complete. This leads to questions like: “What is the Scrybe Streaming team waiting for?”
Many believe it could be the perfectionist ways of Christian Phyfier, although in interviews Phyfier doesn’t seem to be the one to delay something for minor flaws. Others have speculated that the team is anticipating a large deal with major artists being in the works and trying to give that deal the opportunity to unfold before launching. In recent posts, CEO Christian Phyfier has used the number 112,024, and that has been seen to many as the date 1-1-2024, but others believe it could be the number of current users on the app or other theoretical propositions. There was also a hint in the Scrybe discord channel of a January 21st release date in honor of his mother’s birthday, making it an easy day to remember in history.
Whatever the plan, Scrybe has artists ready to make money and fans ready to save on their monthly subscription for their favorite artists, especially now with the new lineup of star studded artists. The hope is that the Scrybe team doesn’t wait too much longer to release V2, as other streaming platforms are continuously stifling smaller artists simply to increase profits, and Scrybe will definitely alleviate their struggle.
