Da-iCE hits the launch button on a new era
today. The five-member group has officially released TERMiNaL,
their 9th full-length album and first in over a year, positioning
it as both a bold reintroduction and a decisive step forward.

TERMiNaL is designed as an entryway for new listeners who
discovered Da-iCE through breakout hits like “Star Mine スターマイン
and “I wonder”, while also serving as a restart line for the
group themselves. Following their EntranCE Tour, the album captures Da-iCE at a
moment of recalibration, drawing from everything they have built so far, and
redirecting it toward what comes next.

The album brings together a wide spectrum of sounds and
stories. Previously released tracks include the funk-driven dance number “FUNKEYS”
featuring Akiko Wada, TV Asahi drama theme “Black and White”, and
“Nonfictions ノンフィクションズ”, the 2025 Summer
High School Baseball Support Song and Nettō Kōshien theme that made waves
nationwide. Alongside these are six brand-new tracks – “TERMINAL”,
“OLD meets NEW”, “Try&Groove”, “Before
the Lullaby ララバイの前に”, “That you know?” and “Past
days” – each adding a new layer to Da-iCE’s evolving identity.

Notably, “OLD meets NEW”, “Try&Groove”, “Before
the Lullaby ララバイの前に” and “That you know?” showcase a new
creative challenge for the group, with members forming unit pairings and
co-writing the songs themselves. The album also includes a special bonus track:
a newly rearranged version of “Live goes on”, originally released
on their 2018 album “BET”, re-recorded with all members to reflect where
Da-iCE stands today as they enter their 15th anniversary year.

Adding to the momentum, the music video for the title track
“TERMINAL” has been released on YouTube. Co-produced by members Taiki
Kudo and Yudai Ohno alongside rising trackmaker MONJOE –
known for work with Number_i and BE:FIRST – the song weaves terminal-inspired
sounds and imagery into a dance-driven anthem that perfectly embodies the
album’s theme of departure, transition, and renewal. The full music video is
set to follow.

With “TERMiNaL”, Da-iCE doesn’t look back – they move
forward with clarity and force. As the group prepares to bring this new chapter
to the stage with their nationwide Da-iCE ARENA TOUR 2026 – TERMiNaL –,
the album stands as a declaration of where they are now and a signal that their
next destination is already in sight.
