Mad Cool 2026: set and performance times revealed

Mad Cool has announced the performance times for the 2026 edition, which will include headline slots from Pulp, Foo Fighters, Florence & The Machine, and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

The upcoming 10th anniversary edition of the festival will be taking place at the usual Iberdrola Music Villaverde site in Madrid, and will run between July 8 and 11.

Artists joining the aforementioned headliners include Twenty One Pilots, Lorde, CMAT, Wolf Alice, Jennie, Moby, The Last Dinner Party, Kings Of Leon, The War On Drugs, Halsey, Teddy Swims, Pixies, The Black Crowes, and David Byrne. The latter will be performing his new album ‘Who Is The Sky?’ alongside his generational classics.

Others on the bill are Kasabian, Jalen Ngonda, The Vaccines, Matt Berninger, Sigrid, Interpol, Holly Humberstone, Chloe Slater, The Reytons, Persia Holder, Overpass, Ttssfu, and A Perfect Circle, as well as a wide range of local Spanish talent.

Now, festival organisers have shared the stage times and structure for the upcoming instalment, so that festival goers can begin to plan their itineraries for this summer.

On the opening night (Wednesday July 8), the main Region Of Madrid Stage will host The Warning at 6:55pm, Wolf Alice at 8:20pm, and Foo Fighters at 10pm, while the Orange Stage will see Palaye Royale, The Last Dinner Party, The War On Drugs and Moby perform at 6:35pm, 7:35pm, 9pm, and 10:50 respectively.

Others on the bill for that night include Jehnny Beth, Dogstar, Hotwax, Hotmilk and more.

On Thursday (July 9), Reneé Rap, Lorde, and Jennie will perform at Region Of Madrid at 7pm, 8:30pm, and 10:30pm respectively, before Florence + The Machine headline at 12:30am, and shows at the Orange Stage kick off from 6:45pm, and will see CMAT, Charlie Puth, Zara Larson, Teddy Swims, and more take to the stage.

Friday (July 10) will see Halsey at the Region Of Madrid Stage at 7:05pm, followed by Pixies (8:30pm), Kings Of Leon (10:15pm) and Twenty One Pilots (12:25am), while Holly Humberstone, Sigrid, A Perfect Circle and Interpol will play at the Orange stage at 8pm, 9:30pm, 11:10pm and 12:55am respectively. Others lined up include Karen Dio, Rio Kosta, Weval, Bunt and more.

Finally, the final day of the 2026 edition (Saturday July 11) will see The Black Crowes at the main stage from 8pm, followed by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds at 10pm and Pulp at 12:40am. The Orange Stage will see The National’s Matt Berninger at 7:25pm, followed by The Vaccines at 8:55pm, Kasabian at 10:30pm, and David Byrne at 10:05am.

Last year, festival organisers announced that Mad Cool had undergone a series of improvements in time for the 10th anniversary edition. These include a reduction in the number of stages and a general reduction in public capacity, all done to reduce schedule conflicts and artist overlaps.

The stacked line-up for 2025 saw Olivia Rodrigo, Noah Kahan, Nine Inch Nails, Iggy Pop, Alanis Morrisette, Weezer, Thirty Second to Mars, Gracie Abrams, St. Vincent, Justice, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, The Wombats, Jet and Glass Animals perform.
