The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines has officially appointed two major Korean stars—Kim Myung Soo and Choi Bo Min—as its newest Tourism Ambassadors for Korea, marking an exciting new chapter in strengthening PH–KR travel relations.

The announcement took place on December 14, 2025, at Consuelo by Chef Vince Garcia, where both artists arrived in custom outfits by Filipino designer Avel Bacudio. Their looks featured handwoven abaca, piña, silk cocoon, and inabel, complete with embroidery inspired by Filipino icons like jeepneys, the bahay kubo, and everyday market vendors, beautifully blending Korean star power with Filipino artistry.

A Packed Two-Day Visit

Before the reveal, Myung Soo and Bo Min spent December 13–14 exploring the Philippines through a curated itinerary that highlighted the country’s luxury, wellness, and outdoor attractions.

Their trip began at Beverly Place Golf Club in Clark, Pampanga, known for its scenic greens and premium leisure facilities. The following day, both stars joined the PUMA Clark Half Marathon, with Choi Bo Min running the 5K race alongside local fans. Kim Myung Soo took the stage with TPB COO Marga Nograles, where he shared that he hopes to visit Siargao soon, and even teased bringing his fellow INFINITE members next time.

Why They Were Chosen

Both stars hold meaningful and long-standing connections with the Philippines.

Kim Myung Soo, actor and member of INFINITE, has visited the country multiple times for concerts and fan meetings, forming a strong bond with Filipino fans. With new projects underway, his influence across Asia continues to grow.

Choi Bo Min has also built a loyal local following through his role in the Filipino TV series Beauty Empire. The idol-actor spent about four months traveling in and out of the Philippines for filming, giving him time to explore local destinations, try Filipino dishes, and experience everyday life here. With a new drama airing next year, his popularity is set to rise even further.

In the Philippines, both artists are represented by GLXY Talent Management, a subsidiary of Universal Records Inc.

What’s Next for the New Ambassadors

As official TPBPHL ambassadors, fans can expect to see more of Myung Soo and Bo Min in upcoming destination tours, digital campaigns, tourism events, and more. From beaches and wellness retreats to city hotspots and cultural sites, the two will help introduce Korean travelers to the Philippines’ best experiences—powered by their genuine love for the country.

With these two stars leading the way, TPB aims to inspire more meaningful, memorable, and curiosity-filled adventures in the Philippines.
