Singers Jo Kwon (2AM) and Ga-in (Brown Eyed Girls) have reunited for the remake of their 2009 single “We Fell in Love” released on this December 17 exactly 16 years later.
Ga-in and Jo Kwon’s “We Fell in Love,” was a hugely popular song that the two sang together on the virtual marriage program MBC’s “We Got Married Season 2,” — where they were affectionately nicknamed the Adam Couple. Their perfect chemistry captivated viewers, and the release of “We Fell in Love” made the winter of 2009 even more beautiful.
Sixteen years later, on December 17, 2025, Ga-in and Jo Kwon reunite once again with “We Fell in Love (2025).” Instead of simply recreating the memories of 2009, they have reinterpreted the song with a deeper emotion, reflecting the passage of time. Ga-in’s simple yet rich vocals and Jo Kwon’s unique soft yet strong emotional delivery combine to create a more mature sound than 16 years ago.
Maintaining the warm sentiment of the original song while incorporating a modern sensibility, “We Fell in Love (2025)” is reborn as a song that evokes the excitement of the past while naturally resonating with us in the present.
Special Film
Meanwhile, the collaboration track serves as an OST for the Korean adaptation of the film “Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight,” based on the original novel of the same title by Ichijo Misaki. The film features rising stars Choo Young-woo and Shin Shi-ah in the lead roles and is set to premiere on December 24.
