BTS‘s Jimin enlisted for his mandatory military service on December 12 alongside maknae Jungkook as “companion soldiers.” J-Hope and Suga, who are currently serving, saw them off.

Likewise, RM and V enlisted the day before, and all fellow members reunited to see them off.

Yet, J-Hope and Suga were not the only ones to see Jimin off as he enlisted. His father was present as well.

Jimin’s dad, Mr. Park, runs a café, MAGNATE, which is a hotspot for ARMYs while visiting his hometown of Busan. His father updated the café’s official Instagram account to share a photo with his son, bidding him farewell. He wrote his caption in three languages, Korean, Japanese, and English, to thank ARMYs.
Hello, I’m ZM-illennial
I sent my son well.
Your support gave Jimin a lot of strength.
I heartily thank you.

Mr. Park updated both the café’s feed and Instagram Story, to which he added Jimin’s solo song “Promise.” If you know the lyrics, you know this makes the post even more emotional!

While ARMYs will miss Jimin, we’re sure his family will miss him even more!
