Renowned actor Im Siwan has released his first mini album “The Reason” through SMArt on December 5.
Th mini album “The Reason” includes a total of 5 songs, including the title track ‘The Reason,’ showcasing his delicate emotions. This album is Yim Siwan’s first solo album since his debut in the group ZE:A in 2010, and it contains a total of five songs, including the title track ‘The Reason,’ all expressing delicate emotions.
In particular, as this is Im Siwan’s first mini-album after showcasing his versatile acting skills through various works, it sensuously captures his previously unrevealed musical tastes, allowing listeners to see a new side of him as a ‘solo artist.’
The title track, ‘The Reason,’ is a medium-tempo pop song with a message full of excitement – that the reason for everything is you – combined with dynamic instrumental arrangements, evoking a scene from a romantic movie.
Furthermore, the ballad ‘Dear My Love,’ which harmonizes a gentle piano melody with a four-piece string arrangement, is a song that confesses feelings as if writing a letter to a loved one. The folk song ‘Two Of Us,’ with its fairytale-like intro, sweetly depicts the process of aドキドキ (dokidoki) confession in its lyrics.
Following this, the pop ballad ‘Where I Need To Be,’ which highlights Yim Siwan’s emotional vocals, conveys the desire to be with loved ones for a long time, and the band-sound-based pop-rock song ‘Pieces’ concludes the album by telling a story about himself, completed by the fragments of memories shared with precious people.
