The Wooga Squad is bidding farewell to their maknae!
The Wooga Squad consists of V, Choi Woo Sik, Park Seo Joon, Peakboy, and ZE:A‘s Park Hyung Sik. Wooga is an abbreviation for the phrase “Are we family?” (Woori-ga Gajok-inga?). They often show their support for each other’s endeavors and also released reality show In the SOOP: Friendcation last year.

As V is the youngest of the friend group, he is the last to fulfill mandatory military enlistment. Choi Woo Shik is Korean Canadian, so he was exempt.
V enlisted alongside BTS leader RM on December 11. Their members saw them off, including Jin, J-Hope, and Suga, who are currently serving.

The Wooga Squad also saw V off ahead of enlistment. Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Shik shared a group photo of each friend touching V’s bald head. Seo Joon wrote, “Makdaengi (little one/youngest) go and come back well.”

Fortunately, V was able to spend time with his friends before enlisting. Park Hyung Sik previously shared that he drank with V ahead of enlistment.
A little while ago, a few days ago, there’s a friend who will be going to the military soon now, and I thought I should see him before he goes, and we drank quite a bit.
