Their gesture visibly moved v, and the three spent some time talking about their friendship as the birthday boy enjoyed the food and cake Na PD and Park had made for him. When the topic came to V and Park Seo Joon’s relationship, the actor revealed a surprising anecdote.

It turns out, V and Park Seo Joon are so close that the actor spent weeks living in his house!
Park elaborated, saying that he had some remodeling planned for his place, which took around four months to be completed. Initially, he had planned to get it done while he was away overseas for a project. But the filming ended quicker than he expected, and he was back in South Korea with nowhere to stay.

I had some work done around my place… It went on for about four months. The place where I live now, yeah. I had remodeling done and it took like four months. And when that was happening, I realized I had nowhere to stay!

Park Seo Joon: But the thing is, I meant to get it done while I was out of the country for a shoot. I specifically scheduled it that way. Except… My shoot was over a lot quicker than I’d anticipated.
Na PD: So you returned earlier than planned?
Park Seo Joon: Yeah.
Since V and Park Seo Joon are practically neighbors, he asked the BTS member if he could crash at his place for a while. Park joked that he said the extra room at V’s place was meant for him, and V happily agreed to let him stay. The actor gratefully mentioned that it helped him “save a bit of money” since he didn’t have to arrange other accommodations.

And Taehyung lives five minutes away from me. So… I was like, ‘Taehyung, can I crash at your place for a bit?’

Yeah! And, I mean, he has an extra room at his place. So I was like, ‘I feel like the extra room is for me. Can I please use it?’ And Taehyung gladly let me stay over. That helped me save a bit of money because I didn’t have to book accommodations.

When Na PD asked how long he had stayed at V’s place, Park clarified that he hadn’t been there every single day since he had his own shoots. But cumulatively, he stayed at V’s place for about two months!

Na PD: How long did you stay?
Park Seo Joon: Well, I wasn’t there every single day. I had my own shoots, so…
Na PD: But overall?
V: We didn’t get to see each other that often.
Park Seo Joon: Overall, I’d say around two months!
He also had real-life K-Drama moments with V’s parents during this time. He said that sometimes he came home to see his parents there, who would greet him like a son and have a meal together.

And sometimes, when I walked in, I’d run into his parents being there. They’d be like, ‘Oh, you’re home!’ And we’d eat together and stuff. I’d ask them where Taehyung went, haha. It was very… you know, like those K-Drama scenes.

The brotherly dynamic of Park Seo Joon and V has extended so deep that their parents are now good friends, too!

My parents and his parents are good friends, too. We introduced them to one another.

Meanwhile, this beautiful friendship blossomed while V and Park Seo Joon worked together in the 2016 K-Drama Hwarang. Since then, the BTS member has also maintained a close relationship with his other co-star, Park Hyung Sik, who also seemingly celebrated V’s early birthday with him before his enlistment!
