Jessi and Jay Park recently took to Instagram to clear the air following reports there was trouble between the veteran soloist and her new company, MORE VISION, which Jay Park founded.

Earlier today, Korean media outlet SPOTV published an exclusive report claiming that Jessi’s sudden music show cancellations during her “Gum” promotions were due to disagreements with her company.
When the appearances were canceled in October, MORE VISION explained that the decision was made for Jessi to recover her health.

Another report from an industry insider via the Korean media outlet, The Fact, alleged that the reported disagreement over her “Gum” promotions had led the two parties to contemplate terminating their exclusive contract.
Jessi and MORE VISION had a disagreement over her promotions for her new song. The disagreement then spilled over even after her promotion had ended. At the end, MORE VISION decided it would be best for them to go their separate ways.

Jessi posted a message on her Instagram story on December 6, setting the record straight about her current standing with MORE VISION.
Jessi denied the “nonsense” reports and clarified that everything was good between herself and her company.

Jay Park also cleared the air, posting to his own Instagram story saying, “Me and [Jessi] are good. No need to worry,” before adding in Korean, “There’s no conflict.”
Jessi signed with MORE VISION in April 2023 and released her first single with the new company, “Gum,” on October 25, 2023.
