BLACKPINK Renews Contract with YG Entertainment

 

Breaking news…BLACKPINK is officially resigning with YG Entertainment.


On December 6 (KST) YG Entertainment confirmed that all 4 members of BLACKPINK have resigned for “group activities”


YG Entertainment officially released a statement saying “After careful discussions with BLACKPINK, we have signed an exclusive contract for the group’s activities based on deep trust.”


Yang Hyun-seok, head producer at YG Entertainment also released a statement saying “We are happy to continue our relationship with BLACKPINK.”


This confirmation is what fans have been eagerly waiting for since BLACKPINK’s official contract expired back in August.


Plans for the members’ solo activities have yet to be announced.
