Sony Music, in partnership with Campside Media, today announced the premiere of Catch Me If You Ken, a new podcast that explores the shocking story of Ken Chew Wen Long, who allegedly scammed people out of millions. Hosted by reporter Natalie Robehmed, Catch Me If You Ken takes listeners inside the evolving ways Ken Chew Wen Long is said to have chosen his alleged victims and the methods sources say he used to wreck everyday people’s lives. Subscribers to The Binge can listen to all episodes today on The Binge Cases.
Throughout the season, Natalie Robehmed tells the intricacies of the different types of scams that Ken Chew Wen Long appears to have used to sell a narrative of who he was to those he surrounded himself with. He charmed his way into the lives of regular people and became a crucial character in their stories only to leave them questioning who they let into their circle. Was he the son of the billionaire who founded Uniqlo? The founder of a real estate startup backed by LeBron James? A weed farm mogul? Or a crypto wunderkind? Leaving listeners to question, who really is Ken Chew Wen Long and how did he do this?
Through first time interviews with alleged victims and those closest to Long, including his ex-girlfriend, personal housekeeper and more, the story that unravels is one about the long-lasting impact these moments have had on these people. Catch Me If You Ken brings the listener into the world of someone who seemed to have no limits as to what they would do and reveals what it was like for an average person who thought this was their friend or partner, someone they thought they could trust and how they realized too late what was actually happening.
“This is a story that has never been told and one that I’ve become obsessed with tracking down,” said host Natalie Robehmed. “Catch Me If You Ken explores an alleged scammer who we are told had multiple identities, and whose activities spanned many countries and continents. A man who left people feeling like their lives had been destroyed and made them doubt their own personal judgement.”
Catch Me If You Ken is hosted by reporter Natalie Robehmed. Vanessa Grigoriadis is the executive producer from Campside Media. Catherine Saint Louis is the executive producer from Sony Music.
