Joining the lineup are Seoyeon Jang (Butterfly), William Fichtner (Mom, The Talamasca), Mikaela Hoover (Superman, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), and musician BM, who is making his acting debut. The new cast members will join previously announced stars Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton, Cailee Spaeny, Youn Yuh-jung, and Song Kang-Ho.

Season 2 will follow a young couple (played by Spaeny and Melton) who witness a tense confrontation between their boss (Isaac) and his wife (Mulligan). This incident sets off a chain of manipulative schemes within the elite world of a country club owned by a Korean billionaire (Youn).

While specific character details are yet to be confirmed, Deadline reports that BM may portray a former tennis pro managing the country club’s tennis shop, while Jang is expected to play the billionaire owner’s personal translator. Fichtner is rumored to be a wealthy club member, with Hoover as his trophy wife.

The first season of Beef, which starred Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, premiered in 2023 and garnered critical acclaim, winning multiple awards, including eight Emmys, three Golden Globes, and two SAG Awards, among others.

The upcoming season will consist of eight 30-minute episodes, with Lee Sung Jin returning as creator, showrunner, and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Yeun, Wong, Jake Schreier, Kitao Sakurai, Ethan Kuperberg, Anna Ouyang Moench, Mulligan, Isaac, Melton, and Spaeny.
