FaBz, born Franklin Barnes in Moreno Valley, California, has been creating music since the age of 5. His passion for singing and storytelling blossomed in his teens, and by 14, he began writing R&B songs that expressed his personal experiences and the lessons he had learned from life. Inspired by the narrative style of Tupac, FaBz set out to craft music that was authentic, raw, and rooted in truth. At 17, he released his first solo album, FaBz Chronicles, followed by a group mixtape Class Is In Session with his high school friends.
Throughout his career, he has continued to perform, write, and produce music that resonates with listeners on a deeply personal level. After relocating to Arizona, he expanded his sound, blending gospel influences into his R&B flow, creating a unique fusion of spirituality and soul. As he gears up for the release of his second independent album, scheduled for March 28th, 2025, FaBz remains dedicated to his craft, pushing the boundaries of genre while staying true to his roots as a storyteller.
In addition to his solo work, FaBz is currently finishing an EP with his newly formed Gospel duo, B.T.B, and has a gospel album set to be released alongside his media company. B.T.B also completed a successful nationwide tour in 2024. FaBz is excited to announce two special events in celebration of the release of his upcoming album, ‘Awakening’, which drops on March 28th.
