Caitlin Hale, who played backing singer Marta, and Angelo Massagli, who played the band’s security Frankie, tied the knot at a wedding ceremony this past weekend.

Multiple members of the cast attended the ceremony, including Rivkah Reyes (who played bassist Katie), Robert Tsai (keyboardist Lawrence), Maryam Hassan (lead singer Tomika), Joey Caydo Jr. (guitarist Zack), Cole Hawkins (Leonard, also security), Aleisha Allen (backing singer Alicia), and Brian Falduto (stylist Billy). The castmates have stayed close since shooting the film, with the event seeing them gather over two decades after its release in 2003.

Some of the former child actors shared footage from the wedding on social media, including an Instagram Reel from Hassan that shows a montage of clips from the nuptials.

In the caption, Hassan wrote: “1st post of the year and what better way to kick it off than with my [family] of 20+ years?

“I spent the past weekend witnessing [Caitlin] and Angelo get married and it was absolutely beautiful and the perfect little reunion for us all.”

Reyes also posted a video from the wedding on TikTok, with a caption saying: “Celebrating the marriage of Caitlin and Angelo with my forever fam.”

Hale and Massagli met during School Of Rock auditions when they were only 10 and 11 years old, saying in a joint interview with Inside Edition how it seems like fate that they both went through the casting process on the same day. “They auditioned thousands of kids across the country, and that was just one of those serendipitous moments,” Hale said.

Massagli recalled hearing Hale sing for the first time: “I remember my first audition like it was yesterday. I get in there and there’s a little blonde girl next to me. She gets called in first, and she starts singing show tunes and just blows the roof off the place. It was excellent.”

The pair reconnected years after the film, with things eventually turning romantic. “We just kept getting lunch, and then lunch turned to dinner, dinner turned to drinks, and the rest is history,” Hale said.

School Of Rock is a musical comedy directed by Richard Linklater. It stars Jack Black as Dewey Finn, an aspiring rockstar who uses his roommate’s identity (Ned Schneebly, played by The White Lotus creator Mike White) to teach at an elite school, before bringing his students together to form a band. It also stars Joan Cusack and Sarah Silverman, and was adapted for the stage by Andrew Lloyd Webber in 2013.

The soundtrack arrived on streaming services for the first time last summer, and Black has said he would be up for making a sequel if the opportunity was to arise.
