NouerA a group under NOUER Entertainment, released their first pre-debut single “MU” on November 14. The members Gihyeon, Junpyo, Hyunjun, Yuseop, Lin, Fan, and Miraku are the winners of the survival show MAKEMATE1.
The name NouerA is a combination of the French word nouer, meaning ‘to connect’, and era, meaning ‘era’, and contains the ambition of seven everyday boys to unfold a world of music that connects eras. Based on the group’s slogan ‘No boundaries, Act bold’, they plan to continue their bold and boundary-crossing challenges.
NouerA’s first digital single ‘무한대 (無限大)’ or ‘NU’ in English is a song about the boys’ journey from nothing to infinite possibilities, and tells the story of the seven members meeting each other.
Based on new school hip-hop, the powerful guitar sound filled with explosive energy maximizes the song’s appeal and conveys NouerA’s fresh energy. Even in a situation like a deep and dark black hole, they discover their own potential and move toward a greater light.
At the climax of the song, amorphous, condensed energy surges, and their existence is imprinted in the universe through a huge collision “Biggest Bang” that they have never experienced before. The boys’ story of challenge and growth is likened to the birth of a star, expressing infinite possibilities.
NouerA’s fresh and dynamic sound is expected to leave a deep impression on global fans.
