The latest trailer for Disney‘s live-action Snow White movie has been released and fans are not happy.

Much like the first trailer, which was released in August, there has been a huge backlash with a wave of negative comments towards the film.

Directed by Marc Webb, Disney’s Snow White is a musical reimagining of the classic 1937 animated film Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs. The film stars Rachel Zegler (West Side Story) in the titular role alongside Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen. The film also features all-new original songs from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

The comments section on YouTube was scathing with one fan writing: “If I saw this movie on a plane, I would still walk out.”

Another added: “Can’t wait to see this film bomb spectacularly.”

One fan even rooted for the poisoned apple in the film: “Nobody has ever rooted for a poison apple until this movie! GO APPLE GO!!!” while others rooted for the Evil Queen over Snow White with one writing: “I want the queen to win in this version.”

Yet again fans mocked the main character for having a similar haircut to Lord Farquaad from the 2001 film Shrek.

“Why is Lord Farquaad playing Snow White?” one asked while another added: “I didn’t realise this was Lord Farquaad’s origin story.”

Others criticised the film yet again for making the seven dwarfs all animated despite it being a live-action film.

“Do you know what would be an improvement…hire real dwarves, and CG Snow White, that could fix it,” wrote one.

Another added: “What’s the point of calling this “live action” if the dwarfs look straight out of a Nintendo game???”

Snow White was previously delayed for a year during the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike.

Last year, Zegler was also criticised for various remarks she made about the original film. Some of them saw the West Side Story actress say that the 1937 film was weird and that she thought Prince Charming was a stalker.

Disney’s Snow White is set for release in cinemas on March 21, 2025.
