The London leg of Outbreak 2025 will precede a two-day edition in Manchester on June 14 and 15, where some of the same artists are set to perform. Here, Slowdive are scheduled to deliver a North of England festival exclusive headline set.
The 2024 instalment of Outbreak saw Basement top the bill, and boasted performances from the likes of JPEGMAFIA, Flatbush Zombies, The Garden, Soccer Mommy, Show Me The Body, Poison The Well, Angel Du$t, Mannequin Pussy, Ceremony, Touché Amoré, Movements and Incendiary.
Turnstile – who released their third and latest studio album, ‘Glow On’, in 2021 – will also play at Primavera Sound 2025 in Barcelona and Porto next summer.
In August 2023, Turnstile teamed up with BADBADNOTGOOD on a collaborative EP titled ‘New Heart Designs’. They debuted a new song called ‘Listening’ as part of the third season of I Think You Should Leave earlier that year.
Last summer, NME gave the band’s live show in Manchester a glowing five-star review. “Turnstile are pushing their culture into a space that it has never previously occupied, on a scale that even they could surely never have imagined,” it read.
“And yet it all feels so natural, as if the band belong on a stage this big, as if they enjoy proving that their music can survive the transition into larger venues. If anything, Turnstile look hungry for more. Is it possible that they could get… even bigger?”
