Today (November 22), the first wave of opening performers for RAYE’s huge upcoming concert in the capital have been revealed. These are Tyla, Doechii (who appears on the BBC Radio One Sound Of 2025 longlist) and former Little Mix member JADE.

When sharing the news of her All Points East 2025 gig earlier this month, RAYE wrote: “London…we are headlining All Points East festival – Saturday 23 August 2025.

“We are going to be bringing you a beautiful show full of passion and incredible musicians to Victoria Park. I’m going to work hard to make it the most beautiful show we are capable of.”

RAYE released her Mercury Prize-nominated debut album ‘My 21st Century Blues’ in February 2023.

She has since taken home a record number of statues at the 2024 BRIT Awards, earned two nominations at the 2025 Grammys and won Best UK & Ireland Act at this year’s MTV EMAs. The artist also performed live at the latter ceremony.

Over the summer, RAYE released an ambitious and “deeply personal” single called ‘Genesis’ – which she described as “a prayer, a plea and a cry for help”. She later teamed up with Central Cee on his track ‘Moi’.

Last month, however, RAYE told fans there would be “no second album any time soon” after her writing books were stolen along with her car.

RAYE performed at Reading & Leeds 2024 in August. In a five-star review of her main stage set at the southern leg of the twin festival, NME wrote: “A huge wave of success has followed since RAYE shared her debut album last year, and now, given her slot at Reading alone, it is clear that all of those milestones only mark the beginning of her story.

“From delivering heartfelt sentiments to dazzling the crowd with her powerhouse vocals, as far as festival debuts go, it’ll be hard for anyone to reach the same heights as this.”

In other news, JADE has released three solo singles this year in the form of ‘Angel Of My Dreams’, ‘Midnight Cowboy’ and ‘Fantasy’.
