Big Bang member G-Dragon has released a new song ‘Home Sweet Home’, featuring bandmates Taeyang and Daesung.
Today (November 22), K-pop rapper G-Dragon dropped his new song titled ‘Home Sweet Home’, a collaboration with his Big Bang bandmates Taeyang and Daesung. While it is credited as a G-Dragon track, it marks the first music the boyband have made together since 2022.
“Well I said, I would be back / And I’d never let you go / Pick a petal off a flower / Daze you love me nope? / Well I said, I would be back / And I’d never let you go / Pick a petal off a flower / Do you love me or (Stop!),” the trio sing in the chorus.
‘Home Sweet Home’ comes just weeks after G-Dragon returned with the surprise single ‘Power’, his first solo release in seven years, following his 2017 self-titled EP ‘Kwon Ji-young’. It was also his first release under Galaxy Corporation and American record label EMPIRE after leaving YG Entertainment a year ago.
This weekend, the K-pop rapper will perform at the 2024 MAMA Awards on November 23 in Osaka, Japan. It will notably be his first time performing at the annual ceremony in nine years.
G-Dragon debuted as the leader of YG Entertainment boyband Big Bang in 2006. He later launched his solo career in 2009 with his studio album ‘Heartbreaker’, which was followed by the records ‘One of a Kind’ and ‘Coup d’Etat’. These subsequent releases spawned hits like ‘Crayon’, ‘That XX’ and ‘Crooked’.
