Following the sensational release of “Supernatural,” which achieved unprecedented success by reaching #1 on the U.S. Weekly Digital Song Sales, entering the Top 10 on the MediaBase Chart, and topping the DRT Global IND Chart, A.C.E released “Anymore” on September 11th.
The release of “Anymore” marked a pivotal moment in A.C.E’s career, coming off the heels of their recent chart-topping streak. The track highlighted their signature vocal power, blending vulnerability and raw emotion. In contrast to their usual high-energy releases, “Anymore” ventured into more introspective, emotionally charged territory, signaling the group’s growing musical range. With a minimalistic, Midwest Emo-styled guitar backing the members’ emotive performances, the song’s stripped-back production allowed their voices to take center stage, delivering a deeply intimate and moving experience.
On September 28, A.C.E treated fans once again with the English single “Just Better.” This release further demonstrated their versatility, embracing a smooth pop sound with a polished, sophisticated production. “Just Better” is a sleek and upbeat track, contrasting the emotional depth of “Anymore” while showing A.C.E’s ability to effortlessly shift between different musical styles. The single combines catchy melodies and intricate harmonies, with the members’ vocals soaring over the energetic beats and groovy rhythms. With its infectious hooks and polished sound, “Just Better” positions A.C.E for even greater international recognition, appealing to a broader global audience while showcasing their maturity and artistic growth.

You’ve previously released more high-energy tracks. How did it feel shifting to a more emotional and introspective approach for ‘Anymore’?

KANG YUCHAN: We’ve been focusing on perfecting each section and detail of the song, carefully considering and experimenting with conveying our emotions – I think this helped us create a more mature and polished finalized product.

Junhee

Your fans always seem to embrace your versatility. How do you think they’ll connect with the emotional depth of ‘Anymore’ and its remixes?

PARK JUNHEE: I believe our fans will deeply connect with the lyrical substance and emotions of ‘Anymore’ – as it talks about a universal experience that everyone has to go through in their lifetime. Try listening to it before bed, during an early morning run, or while sitting on a bench at sunset. I’m confident that it’ll become your ultimate version of ‘Anymore’.

How do you feel your music has evolved over time, especially with this latest single?

LEE DONGHUN: While we’ve definitely improved in skill wise, I feel the most significant change is in our sincerity. We’ve all developed a deeper love for music and a stronger desire to convey our genuine emotions through our songs.

Kim Byeongkwan

What has been your favorite concept “era” within the last 7 years?

KIM BYEONGKWAN: For me, it’s definitely the ‘SAVAGE’ era, which had the best concept and music hands down!! The concept and the music blended perfectly – everything just came together beautifully.

A.C.E is one of the few active groups where the members have completed the military. How do you think you have matured since completing the military service?

WOW: Musically, I believe we’ve broadened our expressive range, enabling us to convey a wider variety of genres and emotions more effectively.

You are highly regarded as a group full of talented singers. Do you have any advice for people who want to get better at singing?

LEE DONGHUN: Sing with all your heart – with everything you have. That’s all I can really say.

Yuchan

A.C.E is multi talented from singing, dancing, and acting. Is there anything that you want to learn?

KANG YUCHAN: While there are so many areas I’d love to explore, the three categories mentioned in the question – singing, dancing, and acting – are not only my favorites, but also what I consider my profession. So, I’m focusing on honing those three aforementioned skills to excel in my career.

WOW

You are continuing your Latin & European tour soon. Is there anything you are excited to see?

WOW: Our 2018 tour left such incredible memories that I’m thrilled about the very mention of the tour. I’m curious to see how our Latin American and European CHOICEs have been doing, and excited to see how much they’ll enjoy this tour.

What is your favorite thing to do before a show?

PARK JUNHEE: My favorite pre-show ritual is exercise! It helps me loosen up and breathe more easily, which helps with my singing. And I absolutely avoid overeating before a performance.

Donghun

What is a personal goal you want to accomplish by 2025?

LEE DONGHUN: From the beginning of this year, my personal goal has been to connect with fans and give back to them as much as possible. I’m committed to maintaining this focus.

Do you have any words for CHOICE who always support you?

KIM BYEONGKWAN: CHOICE, we’re always incredibly grateful for your constant love and support! We will strive to be the A.C.E that never disappoints the love and support you’ve shown us. Love you all!!!
