The American luxury clothing brand announced Jisoo’s ambassadorship with a new campaign video that follows the singer as she walks through New York City, before a bus featuring her on a Tommy Hilfiger advertisement passes by.

“Partnering with Tommy is a dream come true,” said Jisoo, per WWD. “I am so thrilled that by walking my own path I have arrived in New York with an icon of the city; Mr. Tommy Hilfiger himself. Tommy’s latest collection blends femininity with a modern sensitivity that resonates deeply with who I am.”

Meanwhile, Tommy Hilfiger called the singer an “undeniable force in the world of K-pop”. Hilfiger added: “Her confidence, serenity and powerful presence truly set her apart, showcasing a style that is uniquely her own. She is the ideal ambassador for our new collection of prep classics, and I am thrilled to welcome her into our Tommy family.”

The announcement comes a little over a month after Jisoo attended Hilfiger’s Spring 2025 fashion show during New York Fashion Week in September. At the time, the singer posted several carousels of herself wearing the brand on Instagram.

Back in February, Jisoo launched her own label, Blissoo, calling it a “new start” after she and her BLACKPINK bandmates opted not to renew their solo contracts with YG Entertainment.

A portmanteau of “bliss” and Jisoo, the label also says its mission is to “share the happiness that Jisoo creates in her own unique way” while “transcending the boundaries of genres and fields”.

Jisoo currently has several acting projects in the works, including the film adaptation of the hit action-fantasy South Korean web novel Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. She will also lead the upcoming Coupang Play zombie series Newtopia alongside Hellbound star Park Jeong-min. Both projects are set to premiere in 2025.

In other BLACKPINK news, Jennie has made her Billboard Hot 100 debut with her latest single ‘Mantra’, which arrived earlier this month. In a four-star review of the track, NME’s Puah Ziwei called it “proof that the BLACKPINK star has some interesting tricks up her sleeve, which bodes well for her new era as a solo artist”.
