The Boss will first head to Atlanta tomorrow night (October 24), where he will perform a headline slot at Harris’ joint rally with former President Barack Obama.

From there, he’ll join the Democratic party leader again the following week, heading to Philadelphia on Monday (October 28) for her rally. Obama will also be at this campaign event, and Springsteen is expected to break out a handful of his greatest hits.

Both take place ahead of the US Presidential election on November 5, and are held in swing states like Georgia and Pennsylvania in a bid to get more people to back Harris. According to reports from outlets like Consequence, more concerts are expected to be announced in the coming days.

News that Springsteen will be performing at various rallies in support of Harris comes just days after The Boss publicly endorsed her.

Taking to social media, he shared a video in which he recalled why he would be voting Democrat in this election. “We are shortly coming upon one of the most consequential elections in our nation’s history. Perhaps not since the Civil War has this country felt as politically, spiritually and emotionally divided as it does than at this moment. It doesn’t have to be this way,” he began.

Donald Trump is the most dangerous candidate for President in my lifetime. His disdain for the sanctity of our constitution, the sanctity of democracy, the sanctity of the rule of law, and the sanctity of the peaceful transfer of power should disqualify him from the office of President ever again,” he continued. “On the other hand, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are committed to a vision of this country that respects and includes everyone, regardless of class, religion, race, your political point of view, or sexual identity.”

Springsteen has long been political in his music, but first publicly endorsed a President in 2008 when he announced his support for Obama. Since then, he’s endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020, going as far as to narrate his campaign ad and perform at his inauguration in early 2021.

Other famous faces that are backing Harris include Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, P!nk, Bon Iver, Quavo, Billie Eilish and Finneas.

For Eilish, the support also came as her song ‘When the Party’s Over’ featured in the Democrat’s Ad on reproductive care.
