On October 15 KISS OF LIFE returned with their 3rd Mini Album “Lose Yourself” along with the music video for the title track ‘Get Loud.‘
“Lose Yourself” includes the pre-released song ‘R.E.M’ with a sentimental melody and the title song ‘Get Loud’, a rhythmic hip-hop dance genre that strongly shows KISS OF LIFE’s unique personality, and a total of 7 tracks in various genres, from groovy R&B to chill hip-hop and EDM dance-pop, allowing you to enjoy KISS OF LIFE’s unique musical color. Through this album, they plan to grow once again as an artist who will allow you to immerse yourself even more in the story of KISS OF LIFE.
‘Get Loud’ is an impressive track with a hip-hop rhythm with a guitar stroke chop that supports it. It is a song with a Latin-style melody that stands out. The lyrics expressing a state of being immersed in music and the moment are digested with the members’ unique vocals, further highlighting KISS OF LIFE’s artistic side. The color of KISS OF LIFE that was shown in previous works even more strongly.

On the other hand, the pre-released song “R.E.M” is a song about those who do not want to face reality and want to escape into their dreams. They decide that “it’s okay to just meet something that I wanted, even in my dreams,” but in the end, they cannot erase their desire to face it in reality, not in their dreams. We miss a certain time, and we become immersed in obsession with a time that cannot be returned. Such an image may seem foolish to others or be laughed at, but it reminds us that someone’s immersion in the longing to meet again, even in their dreams, can be an earnest dream and hope for someone else.
The two songs are organically connected with the keyword “immersion,” while at the same time presenting the fun of interpretation by telling stories about reality and dreams from different directions. The main characters of ‘Get Loud’ and ‘R.E.M’ are the same person. While there are moments when they shine, there are also times when they miss those moments.
