Luvcat has released the music video for her sinister new single ‘He’s My Man’ – take a look below.
After snippets of the song went viral on TikTok, the Liverpool musician has finally dropped her second single ‘He’s My Man’, with an equally unnerving music video to accompany the song.
The visuals are inspired by Tim Burton films such as Edward Scissorhands along with other gothic classics like The Addams Family. Meanwhile, the video’s skeletal co-star was inspired by a family story told to Luvcat: “My dad and his mates snuck into an old house to find the old lady who lived there pulling a string, which was tied to a rocking chair where her husband was sitting, back and forth. However, he’d died 6 months earlier. She just couldn’t bear to part with him.”

Luvcat exploded onto the scene with her first single ‘Matador’ in May, and has since gone on to sell out headline shows at London’s Paper Dress Vintage and Liverpool’s Kazimeer Garden.
She also performed at Victoria Park’s All Points East this year, where she joined the lineup topped by Death Cab For Cutie and The Postal Service‘s back-to-back headline performance on August 25.
