Jean Smart returns for her final encore as Deborah Vance in the fifth season of Hacks.
Created by Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs and Jen Statsky, the comedy drama series follows the personal and professional dynamic between veteran stand-up comedian Deborah Vance and her new comedy writer Ava Daniels.

Alongside Smart, the show’s cast includes Hannah Einbinder, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Megan Stalter, Paul W. Downs, Rose Abdoo and Mark Indelicato.
The fifth and final season of Hacks premiered on April 9 in the US. Episodes are set to roll out weekly in the UK from April 17, 2026 on Sky Atlantic and NOW.
