Grand Theft Auto 5 is currently available to play for all Ultimate, Standard and PC subscribers but only for a few more weeks. From April 15, GTA 5 will be removed from the Xbox Game Pass library.
The hit action-adventure game was originally released back in 2020 and has appeared sporadically for Xbox Game Pass subscribers over the past few years. The enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto 5 was added to the service last April.
Also leaving Xbox Game Pass on April 15 are Ashen, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery while Terra Invicta will be removed from PC Games Pass.
Microsoft has already confirmed a handful of games coming to the service this April, with more set to be announced later today (April 7). Barbie Horse Trails and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 joined April 2 for Ultimate, Premium and PC subscribers, while Final Fantasy 4 is available from today.

Last month, during a partner showcase, Microsoft revealed 14 titles coming to Xbox Game Pass over the next 12 months including Hades 2.
It’s also been reported that newly appointed Xbox boss Asha Sharma wants to make Xbox Game Pass more affordable following last year’s massive price hike. She spoke to a number of individuals at the Game Developers Conference about the future of Xbox, who claimed that she wants to “make future consoles and products like Game Pass more enticing to a broader range of customers,” and is looking at “revamping pricing models to offer lower-priced tiers.”
In other news, a report claims Grand Theft Auto 6 has cost Rockstar Games more than £2.7billion to make. It comes after a former developer revealed he spent almost three years making broken glass look more realistic in the sequel.
