Earlier this month, the band were confirmed for Spain’s Bilbao BBK Live 2026 along with Calvin Harris and more.

Westside Cowboy were interviewed by NME for The Cover recently, where they reflected on their rise since winning Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition last year. “The novelty of playing to people hasn’t worn off, whether that’s Glastonbury or anywhere,” said drummer Paddy Murphy.

“It always feels a bit like someone’s had a word, like, ‘Let this little band have a go.’ It never quite feels certain and real – it’s like somebody’s going to turn the lights on, then we’re going to have to grab our stuff and leave.”

The group created an exclusive playlist for NME to accompany the story’s launch, dubbed ‘Britainicana’. Their selections included songs by The Replacements, Hank Williams, Jackson C. Frank, Teenage Fanclub and more.

Westside Cowboy have been out on the road supporting Geese recently. These slots followed a sold-out UK and Ireland headline trek in January and February, debut US dates in late 2025, and a tour with Black Country, New Road last October.
