Japanese rock band SPYAIR opens a new chapter of their career with the release of their latest album RE-BIRTH, out today, March 18. A trailer video featuring a digest of the album’s tracks has also been released on their official YouTube channel.
The album is SPYAIR’s first full-length release since welcoming vocalist YOSUKE onboard in 2023. Featuring a total of 10 distinctive tracks, the record reflects the group’s renewed momentum and evolving sound. It opens with the title track “RE-BIRTH,” a song that can be seen as just that, signaling SPYAIR’s determination to move forward with their new lineup.
Alongside newly recorded material, the album gathers songs released over the past three years. Among them is the single “Kill the Noise,” currently serving as the theme song for the TV anime Sentenced to Be a Hero, as well as “Chase the Shine,” which drew widespread attention after being heavily aired nationwide as the tie-in song for the Boat Race 2025 TV commercial. The album also features “Orange,” the band’s biggest hit to date, surpassing 200 million streams and becoming a milestone in SPYAIR’s career after featuring in the movie Haikyu!!: The Dumpster Battle.

Further highlighting the new lineup, the album includes the newly recorded tracks “Darling” and “STILL ON FIRE,” both of which saw vocalist YOSUKE take part in the production process.
RE-BIRTH is out now, but SPYAIR’s new chapter has only just begun.
