London Music Works has announced ‘Music From The Last Of Us’, an orchestral remix album featuring a curated selection of Gustavo Santaolalla songs from both The Last Of Us games as well as the hit HBO series.

The 24-track album features performances from the London Music Works orchestra, led by conductor Nick Squires. The double LP is available to pre-order now from Diggers Factory for £25.99, ahead of a June 2026 launch.

The album is also set to hit streaming on March 27, with a handful of tracks available to stream now.

The third season of The Last Of Us is expected to launch next year. In a recent interview, HBO boss Casey Bloys was asked about the rumours that the next batch of episodes will wrap up the story. “It certainly seems that way,” she told Deadline. “But on decisions like that, we will defer to the showrunners. So you can ask them.”

After the end of season two, showrunner Craig Mazin said there was “no way to complete this narrative” with just one more season. “Hopefully, we’ll earn our keep enough to come back and finish it in a fourth. That’s the most likely outcome.”

The second season of The Last Of Us may have inspired millions to try out the video game series but viewership of the finale was down 56 per cent compared to season one. There was also tension between long-term fans of the game and newcomers to the series.

“People are of course entitled to their opinions. But it doesn’t affect the show, it doesn’t affect how the show continues or anything in any way,” said Bella Ramsey, who plays Ellie in the show. “They’re very separate things to me. So no, I just don’t really engage. You don’t have to watch it [either]. If you hate it that much, the game exists,” they added.

In other news, the complete Marathon soundtrack is now available to stream following the sci-fi shooter’s launch.
