The singing stars of KPop Demon Hunters have been announced as performing at this month’s BRIT Awards.
This year’s ceremony is being held at Manchester’s Co-op Live on February 28 and ‘Golden’, the breakout hit from the most watched film in Netflix history, has been nominated for Best International Song.
Now, it has been revealed that EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, who voice the singing trio HUNTR/X in the movie and who have also been nominated for Best International Group, will play at the show.
Their performance will be pre-recorded ahead of the ceremony in front of invited fans and will air during the ceremony on ITV1 and YouTube.
The trio have said: “We are beyond thrilled to be nominated for 2 BRIT awards this year celebrating the music of KPop Demon Hunters! We can’t wait to bring a special performance to Manchester. See you soon UK fans!”
They will be the first K-pop artist ever to perform at the BRITs, and they join Rosalía, Olivia Dean, Harry Styles and Wolf Alice as performers on the night. Jack Whitehall is returning to host for the sixth time, and this year’s trophy, designed by Matthew Williamson, has been unveiled.
