The life and career of Jeff Buckley is explored in the documentary film, It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley.
Directed by Amy Berg, the film uses audio messages and previously unseen footage to capture the musician’s life. Buckley released one studio album, ‘Grace’, in 1994, before he died aged 30 in 1997 from an accidental drowning.

The documentary features interviews with friends and family of Buckley, including his mother Mary Guibert, along with Rebecca Moore, Joan Wasser, Ben Harper, Susan Silver, Michele Anthony, Aimee Mann and Chris Cornell.
It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2025, and was released in UK cinemas on February 13, 2026.
