Every song on the ‘Cross’ soundtrack

Aldis Hodge returns as Alex Cross in the second season of Amazon’s Cross.

Based on the novel series by James Patterson, the crime drama follows the expert homocide detective and forensic psychologist, who has a knack for digging into the minds of serial killers in order to identify and catch them. In the second season, Cross is on the case of a ruthless vigilante who is hunting down corrupt billionaire magnates.

The supporting cast includes Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, and Johnny Ray Gill. Newcomers for season two include Wes Chatham, Matthew Lillard and Jeanine Mason.

Cross debuted on Amazon Prime Video in November 2024, with a second season following just over a year later on February 11, 2026.

Who composed the Cross season 2 soundtrack?

Like the first season, the score for season two is by Ali Shaheed Muhammad & Adrian Younge. The former is one of the co-founders of A Tribe Called Quest, while the latter has worked with the likes of the Wu-Tang Clan, Ghostface Killah and Kendrick Lamar.

As a duo, the pair’s previous credits include Netflix’s Luke Cage and 2019’s Run This Town. You can stream the soundtrack album for season two below, which includes the theme song titled ‘Some Of Us Are Brave’ by Danielle Ponder.
