Here is our rundown:
‘Nioh 3’ best weapons
The best weapons in Nioh 3 are:
Odachi, Switchglaive – Samurai
Talons, Tonfa – Ninja
When it comes to the Samurai, the more mobile, less clunky Odachi and Switchglaive are by far the best weapons. The former acts like a traditional sword, but without the same level of encumbrance that they have. It also deals a high amount of damage, which is worth having.
The latter can be used to reach enemies from afar and it can also be used as a close range weapon in low stance, with fast attacks and finishers. Both these weapons are the best options for Samurai and don’t rely too heavily on Ki Pulsing or boosting stamina.
As for the Ninja, the Tonfa and Talons outdo everything else. They are fast, low damage weapons, but able to do a lot of damage in a short space of time. Many of the skills and upgraded attacks boost this damage potential even further, making it a great choice for almost any encounter, especially if you can remodel the weapon to your liking at the Blacksmith.
