This year’s ceremony will be held at the Co-op Live on Saturday February 28, marking the first time that the event has taken place in Manchester in its nearly 50 year history. Olivia Dean – who is up for multiple awards on the night – was confirmed earlier this month as the first performer, with Harry Styles and Wolf Alice announced shortly afterwards.

Now, organisers have confirmed that International Artist of the Year nominee Rosalía will join them. It marks her first nomination at the awards, and she’ll face off against artists including Bad Bunny, CMAT, Doechii, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, sombr, Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan and Tyler, The Creator on the night.

News of the Spanish music star’s performance at the ceremony follows the release of her latest album ‘Lux’, which arrived to widespread critical acclaim back in November. The record was given a glowing five-star review by NME, who lauded its “astonishing scope and ambition”.

It was also named on the best albums of the year list by NME, while ‘Reliquia’ from the album landed at Number Seven on NME‘s 50 best songs of 2025 list. The cut is hailed as being musically “adventurous”, with its “gorgeous opening string arrangement melting into gently thumping electronic production”.
