The singing stars of KPop Demon Hunters have been announced as performing the hit song ‘Golden’ at this year’s BAFTA Awards.

EJAE (the singing voice of Rumi), Audrey Nuna (Mira), and Rei Ami (Zoey) will perform together at the awards, which is the most prestigious night in the UK film calendar. The performance will be their first together outside of the US.
The awards will premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday February 22, as-live. In the US, the ceremony will broadcast on E! Alan Cumming will host the event, taking over from regular host David Tennant.
The nominations for the awards were recently announced, Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another leading the way with 14 nominations, Sinners with 13, while Hamnet and Marty Supreme scored 11 nods each. British films The Ballad Of Wallis Island and Pillion scored three nominations each, while drama I Swear has five.
KPop Demon Hunters was one of the biggest hits of 2025, becoming the most watched film in Netflix history. However, the film will not be eligible for the BAFTA Awards due to regulations surrounding cinema releases.
An official press release stated: “The EE BAFTA Film Awards is an unmissable event in the global film awards calendar, watched by millions of film fans around the world. EJAE (Rumi), AUDREY Nuna (Mira), and Rei Ami (Zoey), the singing voices of HUNTR/X, will perform the record-breaking anthem ‘Golden’ from the film’s award-winning soundtrack.”
The artists themselves added: “Performing at the EE BAFTA Film Awards is a golden moment that our younger selves could never have imagined! We’re so proud to represent Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters and spread the film’s positive message to fans around the globe.”
The film recently won Best Song at the Golden Globes, where EJAE used her acceptance speech to reflect on her early struggles in the music industry.
