Empire Of The Sun have announced a date at London’s Alexandra Palace alongside a huge summer 2026 European tour.

The Australian electronic duo of Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore will be playing their largest ever UK headline show on June 27, where they promise an “immersive stage production crafted specifically for the venue”.
It will come in the middle of their ‘Ask That God’ European tour, which kicks off on May 31 in Oslo’s Unity Arena and will take in a total of 17 countries, including shows in Cardiff, Halifax and Dublin, before wrapping up in Luxembourg’s Rockhal on July 5.
Pre-sale for tickets begins at 9am on Thursday (January 29) and fans can sign up for that here. Remaining tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday (January 30) and you will be able to find yours here.
Announcing the tour on Instagram, the band wrote: “Empyreans of Europe… The Empire Returns! We had such an amazing experience with our European and UK fans last summer that we want to share the love again, so we are back and excited to announce our 2026 European Tour.”

The duo’s last album was ‘Ask That God’ in 2024, their fourth full-length studio effort. It included the singles ‘Changes’ and ‘Music On The Radio’.
Steele was also a member of the band The Sleepy Jackson, while Littlemore also plays with Pnau. As Empire Of The Sun, they are best remembered for their hit singles ‘Walking On A Dream’ and ‘We Are The People’.
