Chappell Roan is a big Fortnite fan. Last year, she revealed her ideal night in would be spent playing Fortnite. “If I want to have a really good night, I’ll just eat an edible and play video games. If I’m trying to have fun out, I’ll take shrooms,” she told the BBC after being crowned the Sound Of 2025 winner. She plays the game on Nintendo Switch and uses an Ariana Grande skin.
According to reports, Roan is set to be the latest headliner of Fortnite Festival, following in the footsteps of Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Metallica and Sabrina Carpenter. The rhythm game spin-off launched in 2023 and allows users to “play in a band with friends or perform solo on stage with hit music by your favourite artists.”

Fortnite hasn’t officially announced Chappell Roan’s arrival yet but a number of items have been added to Battlewood Boulevard that hint at her involvement, including a pink pony.
What will the Chappell Roan x Fortnite collab involve?
New seasons of Fortnite Festival normally come with a number of skins, unique items and emotes inspired by the headline artist. According to reports, Chappell Roan will get two skins in the game with one inspired by her 2024 VMA performance, where she dressed up like Joan Of Arc.
Roan’s ‘Hot To Go!’, ‘Good Luck, Babe’ and ‘The Giver’ are already available in Fortnite Festival as Jam Tracks but more could be added as part of the season 13 update. An emote inspired by her viral ‘Hot To Go’ dance was added in 2024 but it’s likely more will be added as part of the collaboration.
When will the Chappell Roan x Fortnite collab go live?
Fortnite Festival season 12 is currently live with BLACKPINK’s LISA as the headline act. That collab is set to end on February 5 when season 13 goes live. Fortnite Festival seasons typically run between 45 and 60 days, so the Chappell Roan event should be live until the end of March.
In other news, Xbox hosted its first showcase of 2026 last night (January 22) with a Developer Direct – check out everything that was announced here.
