VIXX’s main vocalist, KEN, who has captivated audiences with his diverse charms through solo activities such as musicals, variety, and acting, has returned with a new digital single album, [RE:BORN] on January 23.

[RE:BORN], meaning “rebirth,” is a remake album featuring two songs: YB’s “A Flying Butterfly” and Jin Min-ho’s “Heart.”  KEN reinterprets these songs in his own unique style, showcasing his powerful and expressive vocals, delicate emotional delivery, and exceptional singing ability.

This song expresses the beautiful image of an optimistic butterfly overcoming the pain of growth and transformation, changing from a weak and powerless being to a strong and free one, soaring through the harsh realities of life. KEN expresses this through a refreshing arrangement of the song in his own unique style.

This is a reinterpretation of Jin Min-ho’s original song, which calmly expresses the regretful feelings of a man who chose to break up with his lover.  The arrangement is more acoustic, using only one acoustic guitar, allowing KEN’s unique vocal color to shine through.

This album also reflects KEN’s commitment to showcasing new and diverse aspects of himself as a singer in the future. Through this album, the music reborn in KEN’s style retains the emotional impact of the original songs while adding new sensibilities and interpretations, further highlighting his maturity as a vocalist.

Meanwhile, the group VIXX are set to have a sold-out 2026 fan concert  “Case No. VIXX” on February 21 – 22 at the KBS Arena.
