Sue Jacquot is from Arizona and launched her YouTube channel late last year after being introduced to Minecraft by her grandsons Austin and Jack earlier that summer.  “The first couple of months I was kinda intimidated [by Minecraft] but I’ve been playing more the past couple of months and I really enjoyed it and I invite you to come along with me in this new adventure,” she explained in her first upload.

Over the past two months, GrammaCrackers has shared 12 videos of her playing Minecraft and racked up 360,000 subscribers. All ad revenue from her videos is going towards treatment for her grandson Jack’s rare Sarcoma Cancer, which affects muscle and tissue.

A GoFundMe set up by his brother Austin has also been shared in every video’s description and has received more than $48,000 in donations while fans of GrammaCrackers’ videos have created a memecoin to raise money for Jack. “I don’t understand crypto but I do understand kindness,” she wrote on X shortly afterwards

“Words cannot express the gratitude we have for all of the support we have received. Your kind words, prayers, and donations are all appreciated beyond measure. Your generosity has been helping relieve the pressure of extensive medical bills and keeping us afloat during uncertain times,” wrote Austin after GrammaCrackers’ videos went viral. “I just want to thank you for all that you are doing. Your help is just unbelievable. I can’t fathom what you’re doing, it’s just beyond comprehension,” added GrammaCrackers in a video update.

Earlier this week, GrammaCrackers was joined by Jack on a stream for a tour of her Minecraft build.

In other news, Square Enix has announced that Life Is Strange: Reunion will release later this year and see the return of OG stars Max and Chloe.
