Earlier this month, Microsoft announced that 11 titles would be added to Xbox Game Pass this January including Star Wars Outlaws. Now the company has confirmed eight more games will be made available to subscribers this month.
As well as Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, the directors cut of the original Death Stranding is set to arrive on Xbox Game Pass for the very first time. The game was a PlayStation exclusive when it launched in 2019 and only arrived on Xbox at the end of 2024. As it stands, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is only available for PlayStation users and nothing about an Xbox release has been confirmed.
However, Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima is currently working with Xbox on his upcoming horror anthology game OD.

Last year, Microsoft increased the price of Xbox Game Pass to “offer players more flexibility, value and choice” but many fans weren’t impressed. Defending the price hike, Microsoft’s Director of Gaming and Platform Communications Dustin Blackwell said: “We understand price increases are never fun for anybody, but we’re trying to reinforce by adding more value to these plans as well,” he explained. “It’s something we don’t take lightly, and we’re listening to the feedback of players and the community to try to provide them with more of what they’re asking for.”
In other news, Roblox is facing another wave of criticism after one player spent weeks recreating Epstein Island in the popular game.
