BRITs Week 2026 War Child gigs announced across the the UK

The performances lined-up for BRITs Week 2026 have been confirmed, with Fatboy Slim, Myles Smith, Lambrini Girls and more all playing intimate shows to raise money for War Child.

The annual event takes place in the run up to the BRIT Awards, and sees huge names play one-off intimate shows in a bid to raise funds and awareness for the War Child charity. The non-profit organisation provides protection, education, mental health support and more for children whose lives have been affected by war.

This year, the BRIT Awards ceremony will be heading to Manchester – the first time it has been held outside of London in nearly five decades – and the War Child shows will take place in the run up to the event, kicking off on February 12.

All of the shows will also be expanding into a new era too, and taking place at various cities across the country, including Newcastle, London, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Brighton and Manchester.

To kick start off, Fatboy Slim will be opening the event with a one-off slot at the intimate Boiler Room venue in Newcastle. Held on February 12, the slot comes ahead of the BRIT and Grammy-winning DJ playing huge headline slots at Boardmasters, Tramlines and more later this summer.

From there, politically-charged punk duo Lambrini Girls will be bringing their raucous set to The Garage in London on February 16, and last year’s BRITs Rising Star winner Myles Smith will will return to his alma mater city of Nottingham, to play the Rescue Rooms on February 24.

Finally, War Child has teamed up with The Warehouse Project to host DJs Josh Baker and Rossi. at YES in Manchester on February 25 and 26 respectively, and the run of shows comes to an end with a closing night at Edinburgh’s Music Hall at Assembly Rooms on February 27. At that gig, it will be BBC introducing Artist of the Year and Mercury Prize shortlisted artist, Jacob Alon, who will perform.

BUILDHOLLYWOOD is also helping by donating outdoor advertising space across London and Manchester to support this year’s shows.

Proceeds from the shows will be donated to War Child and help support their work to reach children as early as possible when conflict breaks out.

Tickets will go on sale via a prize draw, and fans can get entry by donating starting from £10 to War Child. Tickets go on general sale on Friday January 16 at 10am, and those who sign up before 3pm tomorrow (Wednesday January 14) can get access to the pre-sale happening on Thursday (15) at 10am.

“BRITs Week is back for its 13th year, and once again the lineup is nothing short of extraordinary. The atmosphere at these shows is always electric, with fans getting the rare opportunity to experience their favourite artists up close in some of the UK’s most beloved intimate venues,” said Clare Sanders-Wright, Head of Live Music at War Child.

“Right now, one in five children globally are living with the devastating impact of war. That’s more than 520 million children worldwide, facing violence no child should ever have to endure. I want to extend a huge thank you to the artists and their teams for giving their time, passion and talent to make these shows possible,” she added. “Their support helps War Child continue our vital work to protect, educate and stand up for children caught in conflict, and to champion our message that No Child Should Be Part of War. Ever.”

Last year’s BRITS Week shows for War Child saw performances from Kasabian, Nova Twins, Soft Play, Rachel Chinouriri, Joy Crookes, Clean Bandit, Cat Burns and Frank Turner.

In other War Child news, it was revealed last week that another star-studded album is seemingly on the way, and fans started speculating that Arctic Monkeys, Fontaines D.C. and Damon Albarn could be involved.

The non-profit first dropped a charity album back in 1995 in a bid to raise funds for young people caught up in the Bosnian conflict. Titled ‘Help’, it was mastered by Brian Eno, featured artwork from John Squire, and featured Oasis, Blur, Radiohead, Orbital, Portishead, Massive Attack, Suede, Sinéad O’Connor, Manic Street Preachers, The Boo Radleys and more.

It raised over £1.25million, and was followed by other charity records including 2002’s ‘1 Love’, 2003’s ‘Hope’, 2005’s ‘Help!: A Day in the Life’ and 2009’s ‘War Child Presents Heroes’.
