ALPHA DRIVE ONE, a group formed through Boys Ⅱ Planet, has officially made its debut with the EP, “EUPHORIA.” The group consists of eight members: Sangwon, Anxin, Xinlong, Geonwoo, Arno, Leo, Sanghyeon, and Junseo. This attracted fans’ attention from early on, especially with their high-quality pre-debut performances at the 2025 MAMA Awards and the 2025 Melon Music Awards.
The debut EP, “EUPHORIA,” tells the joyful and exciting story of the eight members coming together to form one group. The six-track mini album brings an exciting and multi-genre blend, creating dynamic sounds within the group. The group pre-released ‘FORMULA,’ which received high praise from fans, while also gaining 10 million views on YouTube for their performance video. They used this opportunity to share how coming from different paths created the perfect “formula” for their success.
The title track, ‘Freak Alarm,’ is the group’s announcement to the world that they are now here to pave their own way. They also use this song to send a message to those who face struggles but continue to move forward. The hip-hop-based track quickly captures the listener’s attention with its catchy melody and intense sound. The music video achieved over 15 million views within one day.
ALD1 also recreated two of the iconic Boys Ⅱ Planet songs, ‘Chains’ and ‘Never Been 2 Heaven’ were both originally used as evaluation songs on the program. Now it’s been re-recorded and imagined with the debut members as their own song.
There are also two new tracks from the group. The first is ‘Raw Flame,’ which is about the groups staying true to themself and showing that to their fans. This high-energy track showcases the group’s vocals and desire to “burn” past their limits. The final track ‘Cinnamon Shake,’ is a dance-pop track with a fun upbeat song that brings a party-like vibe.
