Group WAKER has returned with their long-awaited new EP album “In Elixir: Spellbound” on January 8, coinciding with their 2nd debut anniversary.
“In Elixir: Spellbound”, tells the story of youth experiencing the emotions of love, encompassing both excitement and heartache. Centered around the title track ‘LiKE THAT,’ the album delicately explores various emotions of love, conveying feelings of anticipation, tension, comfort, and energy.
‘LiKE THAT’ captures that dizzy, feverish, all-consuming feeling of new or intense romantic attraction, where someone else has completely captivated you and thrown your emotional equilibrium off balance. It’s both exhilarating and destabilizing at once.
The diverse sounds and arrangements showcase the group’s musical maturity and emotional depth, resulting in a highly accomplished work that profoundly captures the moments of growth experienced by young people as they navigate love.
Including ‘LiKE THAT’ the album includes 10 tracks; 11:49, Lucid Dream, Revive, 10 outta 10, Morning Star, Feeling, Sugar Crush, Drop Out, and Dreaming Talk: DAY 3.
