‘Forza Horizon 6’ release date window

Microsoft has confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 is set to release in 2026, with rumours suggesting it will release in the first half of 2026.

Several rumours from sources like NateTheHate and XboxEra have said the game is targeting a release in the first half of the year, with the latter even providing a month, suggesting it is planned to be released in May.

This would be a change from the previous game, but Xbox has a stacked year coming up including Gears of War E-DayHalo: Campaign Evolved, and Fable. So, it would make sense for Xbox to have a big game in the first half of the year, especially to boost their financials

‘Forza Horizon 6’ setting

Forza Horizon 6 is confirmed to be set in Japan, bringing the series to the country for the first time. It has been a long-requested setting for the series so it is great to see it finally come to fruition.

We should hear more about the game before the end of January during an Xbox Developer_Direct, which has taken place for the last several years now and will be happening again early in 2026.
