Revered US business magazine Forbes says in its latest cover story that the ‘Bodyguard’ singer has joined “an elite group of celebrities who have recently crossed the three-comma threshold”, with a net worth of $1billion (£780million).

She has become the fifth musician to reach the milestone, joining her husband, Jay-Z, as well as Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and Rihanna.

Though the publication references Bey’s various business ventures – that include hair care brand Cécred, whiskey label SirDavis, and her now-discontinued clothing line Ivy Park, Forbes says that most of her personal wealth comes from her music, with the singer controlling the rights to her catalogue.

However, they highlight that the album-equivalent sales of Beyonce’s discography (a metric that takes into account streaming as well as digital and physical sales) for 2025 were less than half of those of other pop artists, such as Sabrina Carpenter or Bad Bunny.

The report credits Beyoncé’s recent stadium ‘Cowboy Carter‘ tour with an increase in her wealth. The 32-show run wrapped up in July in Las Vegas, grossing $407.6million (£305.5million), per Billboard Boxscore, and becoming the highest-grossing tour this year, despite Oasis’s giant comeback tour selling more tickets.

Forbes estimates she brought in $148million (£109million) in 2025 before taxes, making her the third-highest paid musician in the world.

The ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour was named earlier this year as the highest-grossing country tour of all time, and it also made Beyoncé the first American artist to have two tours gross over $400million, following on from her 2023 ‘Renaissance’ trek. She was also the first-ever female artist to headline a stadium tour back in 2016.

The first London ‘Cowboy Carter’ show at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earned her a glowing five-star review, with Nick Levine writing for NME: “As a performer, she remains pretty much flawless – who else can sing from a bucking mechanical bull without missing a note? And as a creator of stadium spectacle, she keeps getting better. No one leaving this show will be removing their cowboy hat on the ride home.”

In other news, hard drives containing unreleased music from Beyoncé were reportedly stolen out of a rental car during the tour stop in Atlanta.

Back in August, the singer sparked more speculation over her rumoured ‘Act III’ rock album after she appeared in a new Levi’s advert.
