XG put on a show stopping performance for their US TV Debut of “GALA” On The Voice Season 28 final

XG have once again proved why they are the current trailblazers after making their U.S. television debut with a performance of their latest single, “GALA”, on the Season 28 finale of NBC’s The Voice, which aired December 16.

The performance was a true showstopper, complete with glamorous styling, dynamic background dancers, and bold, high-fashion production that vividly brought the world of “GALA” to life on The Voice stage. XG delivered a confident, star-defining moment that underscored their global reach and crossover appeal.

This appearance capped off a remarkable year for the group. This year saw them make history as the only Japanese artists to perform at Coachella, where they closed the Sahara stage to widespread acclaim. They also sold out shows worldwide, including a landmark performance at Tokyo Dome attended by more than 50,000 fans.

XG’s debut on The Voice also signals the beginning of an exciting new era, as the group gears up to release their first full-length album, THE CORE – 核, arriving January 23, 2026. The album’s lead single, “GALA”, has already seen major global success, recently breaking into the Top 40 on U.S. radio and further solidifying XG’s status as a defining force in global pop. THE CORE – 核 is available for pre-order now.

In support of the new album, XG will launch XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE in 2026. The tour begins in Japan this February, before heading across Asia, North America, Europe, Australia, Latin America, and more.

As XG continue to push boundaries of “X-Pop”, their momentum shows no signs of slowing. The group has also received an outpouring of support towards member COCONA, who recently shared that identity as AFAB, transmasculine and non-binary. Recently having had top surgery, they marked their 20th birthday on December 6th with a heartfelt personal message to fans. An incredibly brave and powerful declaration of identity, one that further reflects why XG are forging their own path in the music industry, doing things on their own terms.
