The fashion designer and former Spice Girl recently made an appearance on What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. During the interview, she spoke about the ex-footballer receiving a knighthood from King Charles last month for his services to football and British society.

He is now officially known as Sir David Beckham, and previously said he “couldn’t be prouder” (via BBC Sport).

Cohen asked Victoria if she is now “Lady Victoria”. She replied: “I am Lady Beckham.”

The host then asked if he could call her “Lady Posh”, referring to her nickname in the Spice Girls. “Listen, whatever you want,” she responded. “Whatever you want. Anything for you.”

Writing on social media after David was knighted, Victoria said: “Words cannot express how proud I am of you @DavidBeckham!”

In a previous post, she wrote: “David, from the moment I met you 28 years ago, you’ve always been so proud to represent your country. Whether on or off the pitch, no one loves England or respects our Royal Family more, so to see you honoured by The King today is something I’ll forever cherish.

“You’ve achieved so much, and yet you’re still the same kind, humble, hardworking man I met nearly 30 years ago, as well as the most amazing husband and father. I’ve never felt prouder than I do today. Sir @davidbeckham, we all love you so much xxx.”

Victoria received an OBE in 2017 for services to the fashion industry. She was recently the subject of a new three-part docuseries on Netflix, titled Victoria Beckham. It followed on from the 2023 doc about David, called Beckham.

In September, Victoria sparked speculation about a potential Spice Girls reunion after attending an Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium. She shared a photo from the gig along with the word “Tempting”, while tagging her former bandmates in the post.

Spice Girls embarked on a huge reunion tour in 2019, but the line-up did not include Victoria. The last time all five members performed together publicly was at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012.

Last April, all five singers came together for a surprise performance at Victoria’s 50th birthday party.

This November, Mel C said she was “optimistic” about another return for the iconic girl band in 2026. “It’s our 30th anniversary next year,” she explained. “We toured in 2019, we did a few stadium shows in the UK and it was incredible.”
